ABOUT THE PLAY

The play revolves around the story of a family where the patriarch, a grumpy father who is fast approaching old age, believes his three grown-up children are making all the wrong choices in life. He blames his oldest son, a promising cricketer, for his philandering ways though he has a steady girl-friend. He disapproves of his daughter’s relentless faith for a self-styled Godman and his youngest son’s obsession with acting. In turn, his kids dismiss their father’s worries as a lack of understanding and generation gap. How the family overcomes these differences is what the play is all about.
